Information we collect

If you subscribe at brief.accircuit.com, Pinball processes your email address to deliver The AC Circuit Brief and maintain subscription, suppression, bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe state. The Brief form asks for an email address only.

If you contact AC Circuit, we receive the address you use and the contents of your message. Hosting and security providers may process IP address, request time, requested page, device or browser information, and similar technical records needed to deliver and protect the service.

AC Circuit uses optional, consent-based analytics to learn which directory pages are useful. Google Analytics loads only after you select Allow analytics. After consent, Google may receive the page visited, referral source, approximate location, device and browser information, and coarse interactions such as page views, scrolling, directory-filter use, and outbound link clicks. AC Circuit does not intentionally send email addresses, form values, directory search text, or private buyer information to analytics.

Buyer capability requests

When buyer request intake is activated, AC Circuit collects the outcome, current process, timing and budget bands, operating markets, name, work email, company, contact permission, and the optional business, system, data-access, approval, and rollback context the buyer chooses to provide. The current public request page remains a preview and does not transmit or save entries.

Requests awaiting confirmation and confirmed requests are stored in Convex for qualification and lifecycle control. SendGrid delivers the confirmation email. After the buyer confirms, Pinball receives only the allowlisted contact and request-reference fields needed for the contact record. Newsletter consent is separate from capability-request contact permission, and a buyer request does not subscribe someone to The AC Circuit Brief.

How we use information

AC Circuit uses information to deliver the Brief you requested, honor unsubscribe and suppression choices, reply to messages and privacy requests, operate and secure the site, investigate abuse, comply with law, and—only after analytics consent—understand aggregate site use. Newsletter and optional analytics processing rely on your consent; necessary operations and security support AC Circuit's legitimate interests, and some records may be kept to satisfy legal obligations.

AC Circuit does not sell personal information or subscriber email addresses and does not use subscriber information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The AC Circuit Brief

AC Circuit does not attach private buyer briefs, company information, directory searches, or Assisted Match answers to the newsletter profile. Newsletter consent is separate from Assisted Match contact permission. You can unsubscribe through any Brief email without losing access to the public directory.

Service providers and disclosures

AC Circuit uses Convex for private buyer-request records and lifecycle state; SendGrid for transactional confirmation email; Pinball for confirmed contact records and The AC Circuit Brief; Vercel and Cloudflare for hosting, delivery, and security; and Google Analytics only after analytics consent. These providers process information for AC Circuit under their own service and privacy terms. AC Circuit may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

Retention and deletion

AC Circuit schedules unconfirmed requests for deletion after seven days; spam and abuse records after 30 days; declined, self-service, and other closed contact records after 90 days; and waitlisted or qualified unpaid records after 12 months. A verified introduction or a qualified request that reaches completed may be retained for up to 24 months for operational, dispute, legal, or accounting needs. A documented legal or accounting hold may pause deletion only for as long as the hold remains necessary.

AC Circuit keeps an active subscriber record while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, AC Circuit may retain the minimum suppression information needed to honor an unsubscribe and prevent an accidental future send. Contact messages, technical records, and consent records are retained only as reasonably needed for their stated purpose, security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance, subject to provider retention controls.

You may request deletion at info@accircuit.com. Some information may remain when needed to honor suppression, protect the service, or meet a legal obligation.

Your privacy choices and rights

You may unsubscribe from the Brief, decline optional analytics, withdraw consent, and request access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, appeal a decision, or complain to a data-protection authority. Send a request to info@accircuit.com. AC Circuit may need to verify your request before acting on it.

Your analytics choice is stored in your browser as accircuit_analytics_consent. Remove that site-data item and reload AC Circuit to choose again. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals do not replace this on-page choice; optional analytics stays off unless you affirmatively allow it, and AC Circuit does not use advertising cookies.

International processing

AC Circuit is a United States company serving visitors worldwide. Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where its service providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, AC Circuit uses appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for cross-border processing.

Assisted Match intake preview

No buyer or provider intake is open or operational in this release. The request and provider pages are display-only previews and do not submit or transmit information.

If Assisted Match intake opens later, AC Circuit will state its collection, storage, contact, consent, and retention terms before asking for information. Do not enter passwords, credentials, private source code, personal customer data, protected health information, financial account data, confidential documents, or other regulated or secret information into the request intake.

Children's privacy

AC Circuit is intended for adults and business use. It is not directed to people under 18, and AC Circuit does not knowingly collect personal information from them. Contact AC Circuit if you believe a minor has provided personal information.

Security

AC Circuit uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information it handles. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so AC Circuit cannot guarantee absolute security.

Policy changes

AC Circuit may update this policy as its services change. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, additional notice.
